How to Tap an Android device?

1. Make sure their phone is on the list of Compatible Devices.
   The phone model you have does not matter when sharing!
   
   
2. Make sure to touch your Tapni to the centre at the back of your phone.
   
   
3. Turn on NFC capabilities in their phone settings
   
   

   If their phone is on the list of compatible devices and it is still not reading your Tapni, go to their phone settings and search for NFC. Make sure that "NFC" is turned on!

 

How to Tap an iOS device?

1. Make sure their phone is on the list of Compatible Devices.
   The phone model you have does not matter when sharing!
   
   
2. Compatible iPhones have NFC always enabled (iPhone XR and newer). Check out our support article on how to enable NFC for Androids and other iPhones.
   
   
3. Make sure you tap the “sweet spot” for iPhones.

• • On iPhones, the sweet spot for reading NFC is on the very top of the back of the device.

• • Make sure the phone is lit up before tapping

 

 

How to share using my QR code?

 

If the other person’s phone is not NFC compatible you can still share your profile. Make him/her scan your QR code located on your card or in your Tapni App (upper right corner)
